Aquatic Class Descriptions:
Swimming skills are not necessary.
This fitness program is a deep water aerobics class designed to improve flexibility and increase muscle tone. The class meets in the deep end of the pool. A floatation belt will be worn the entire class time.
A vigorous water exercise class held in the shallow end of the pool. Uses noodles, dumbbells, and water as resistance. Class includes warm-up, stretching,
cardiovascular, toning, and cool-down segments.
This program is designed especially for adults with arthritis. A certified American Arthritis Instructor leads the class through gentle exercise that increase flexibility, endurance, and circulation while strengthening the mind, body and spirit.
All Aquatic classes are coed. Free to members!
Non-member program fees allow you to participate in as many aquatic fitness classes as you wish within the
Aquatic Fitness schedules are available at the Courtesy Counter.
